About

Hello, Friends.
My name is Sandra and I am a mother of two daughters. My eldest is 11 years old (going 40!) and my younger one is 9. Both girls are picky eaters.

Oh, yes, I’ve done that already. I’ve hidden vegetables in burger patties and meatballs. I’ve added loads of mushy squash in my Bolognese sauce and I’ve chopped and sauteed spinach and stuffed it wherever I could. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.

I remember when the children were babies. They ate everything! And then when they turned 3 and 4 years old, that’s when they got picky.

Like most mothers, I am always worried that the children are not getting enough nutrients in their food. I mean, what vitamins and minerals can one possibly get in chicken nuggets? Well, not much, unless I stuff it with spinach and chopped carrots!

But that’s my point. I started researching on vitamins and minerals because I wanted to make sure that I am giving them (and their bodies) the help they need while they’re in this growing up like a giant years.

This is how I stumbled on trace minerals and the benefits of trace minerals. I wondered at why at such insignificant amounts required, they do a lot of damage when this amount is not met. I mean, we all know what happens when we’re iron deficient, don’t we? But believe it or not, iron is a trace mineral!

So here on this site, together, we will discover the benefits of supplements and their many advantages.

I am not a doctor, a nurse, a scientist nor a biochemist. But I am a Mother. And it is this reason why I want to find out the many ways I can help my daughters grow into healthy, happy women.

If anyone out there has a recipe for turning peas into a lovely shade other than green, please let me know. Because one cup of peas has so much nutrients that I despair whenever the children leave it untouched.

Please email me and tell me about your challenges. I would love to swap war stories with you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Sandra
